Super Great Chocks - July 08, 2008

These chocks are the best on the market. I bought one a few years ago and it works great, last week we camped at a campground where I had to use leveling ramps. I put the chocks on the opposite tires of my travel trailer, and the trailer came off the ramps, the side where the chocks were never moved, so I just ordered another locking chock. Two thumbs up for these locking wheel chocks.

must have product! - May 29, 2008

I have a 35' Jayco Eagle FW and borrowed a friends cheap chock and
was not impressed. A trailer this size really needs support to keep
from shaking at every movement (between 3 kids and 3 slides it really
was a big problem). After reading the reviews I figured it was worth
the try - worse case is I bring them back - but wow! what a difference!
Between the chocks and slideout supports it is much, much better. It
is a big trailer and nothing will keep it from some movement but this
was a huge help and worth the $. Don't go cheap (like my friend)
because you get what you pay for - remember, it's only one chock per
box so you need to order two. Happy Camping!

Excellant Purchase - May 27, 2008

I purchased a set of chocks late last year and have had the
opportunity to use them twice this year. They work great. I would not
say that they eliminate all of the movement but it is greatly improved.
They are much easier and give greater peace of mind over the
traditional plastic tire wedges.

These chocks work great. They took all the rock and movement out of
my travel trailer. The wrench that comes with them also work great
with my stabalizer jacks on the camper.
I would recomment these to anyone needing wheel chocks.

Dramatic improvement! - May 22, 2008

I bought these shortly after getting my new 28' Prowler to replace the
plastic wheel chocks I'd been using with my hybrid for the previous
three years. All I can say is I should have gotten these 3 years
sooner! The improvement is VERY noticeable...I can still force a
wiggle by jumping around inside the trailer, but the trailer is now rock
solid in medium winds and with normal walking around. Would
definitely recommend.

I had a set of those over center cam lock things. I put them in the
trash at the recycle place. These are 100% better and stay put. They
are so much easier to operate and hold tight with out the stress of
that cam thing.

One of the best things I've purchased for our TT! - May 06, 2008

We were new to the rv'ing world last year when we brought home our
new baby! It was a 29ft Prowler Lynx Travel Trailer and we love it! We
didn't like all the movement inside trailer and was advised to get a
BAL chock! It was great. Easy to use and store. Now be advised you
will still feel movement but just not as bad. We might buy a second
one for the other side later!

After spending a moving weekend without these, my wife said I
HAD to do something. It had been our first time out in our new
camper. Soon as we got back from camping, I did a search and
found the Deluxe Chock, ordered them and my son installed them
before I I even got home to see the shipping boxes. I told the wife
and son to get in and walk around the camper while I watched the
tires - not even the slightest movement! Wife gave me the thumbs up
and with a big smile on her face, told me she was happy and felt
secure. Now I know without her worrying, my camping experiences
will be more stress-free!!!

No motion, no sway. My wife and I have used these deluxe tire locking
chocks on every trip for the last three years. Fantastic! Spend a couple
of bucks more and get something that really works; something that
does what you expect it to do.

No Movement whatsoever! - April 14, 2008

Besides the plastic wheel chocks getting stuck under the tires...they
were also blown away by strong winds. Waste of money! With the
Deluxe Tire Locking Chock there is; no movement, no blown away
plastic chocks, no stuck chocks and no walking around the trailer
removing all the chocks. Great easy to use product!

Need 10 Stars Because These Are Better Than The Best - April 03, 2008

We bought these for our 26' Trail Lite ,What a difference they
make.Tried all the Plastic, and Wooden Chocks ,these were a total
waste of money.Purchased these and used them one time and now
we camp nowhere without them.Anyone with tandem axles should
have these, they are a must. The ratchet wrench that comes with them
makes the installation a breeze. If they make anything better than
these, I will have to see them to believe it.If you want better than the
best ,these are the ticket.

the trailer moving at all. Do not buy any thing else, buy these wheel
chocks...

Tried the plastic blocks, and with a 33 foot travel trailer, they lasted
only once.... Scared the wife a kid. Got home, and bought a set of
these! Never camp without them again. Have since bought a set for
two other camping friends and they love them, stating they have never
felt secure in their camper before using these!!
Get a set today, and DON'T FORGET TO TAKE THEM OUT BEFORE
PULLING AWAY!!

HOW TIGHT IS TIGHT - December 26, 2007

Yes, after my 30 footer squashed the yellow plastic wedges, bent the
electric jack and scared the dickens out of me I purchased 2 of the
deluxe tire locking chocks. and yes the wife is happy now that the
movement has been reduced when I roll over in bed and she's
showering. my question is how tight do I have to tighten the chocks, I
am not quite sure when to stop. is it just snug or until you cannot
tighten anymore. thanx Len

They work great but, It is possible to drive away with one of these still
in place. Mine came out and I ran over it. lucky I didn't damage the tire.
SO, put pulling them on your check list.

Simple and effective - November 19, 2007

I was using the little yellow plastic wedge for a while until the first time
my trailer started rolling away when I unhooked. The plastic chock just
slid on the pavement. As soon as we got home from that trip, I bought
this and have used it ever since. It's simple to use and quite effective.
The trailer will not move with it in place.

On checking onto most all the ground chocks, wedges, and wooden
home made style clamps and the like these light weight compact
chocks do it better and easier than the others I have seen. when
used in pairs on both tandem axles the chocks almost totally
eliminate the rock or sway that wedge chocks allow.. used in concert
with a pair of wedge chocks for roll away safety and the locking chock
for movement you have a solid setup. also the ratchet wrench that is
supplied makes a painless install and removal... very well thought
out..

These work great. Like other reviewers have said, you really need to
have two of these to do the job. It used to feel like we were on a boat,
last trip out, we had strong winds and never noticed any movement.

Money well spent to prevent travel trailer from movement. I recently
purchase a Springdale 266rl and placed the deluxe tire locking
chocks and no movement at all. I was in total shock that this product
really works and the blinds no longer make noise with the movement
of my family getting up in the middle of the night.

Money Very Well Spent - September 05, 2007

We recently bought a 30' Travel Trailer. The first time we took it
camping everytime someone walked inside, it rocked back and forth. I
was using 2 regular plastic chocks. Me and my husband are large
people. I looked online when we got home, saw these and read what
others had wrote about them and decided to give them a try. So we
bought 2. We went back out for the Labor Day weekend and used
them. The first thing I said when we walked inside was, it was money
well spent. I would suggest them for anyone, But don't just buy one go
ahead and get 2 you want be sorry.
